What To Expect

Heirloom Portraits and Albums

At Callahan Photography you will be guided through the process of obtaining custom photo based artwork for your wall, mantle, or coffee table.

I offer prints on canvas, metal, metallic paper, watercolor paper and traditional paper. Hardcover and softcover albums with watercolor and traditional pages are also available. I am now offering specialty prints which are enhanced with organic media such as colored pencil and acrylic paints after printing. These are truly one of a kind!

The Consultation

Your experience begins with a consultation at my studio. Let’s figure out what will best fill your needs. We will discuss what you have in mind and where the images will be displayed in your home, or office. Shooting location and/or clothing options will be decided.  This helps me focus my efforts on what you want. I have samples of all of the prints and albums I offer at our fingertips. While here, we’ll set up a date and location for your session.

The Session

Auto sessions are done on location. Animals and people can be photographed on location or at my studio. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll re-schedule the session. I prefer to pick locations that have meaning to my clients. Your session is my top priority during the shoot.

Order Appointment

After the session, I’ll set up an ordering appointment with you. When you return to the studio, I’ll help you make your selections of the images and prints you want. After I complete the artwork your order will be printed. All prints and albums are professionally printed.

Pick up

I’ll invite you back to pick up your prints! You’ll be shown everything you’ve ordered. Wall portraits will then be wrapped for transport. (All orders will be paid in full before they leave the studio.)
